Ace Tackle Ace Shad designed and patented by Michael Archer. This particular color was a favorite of my dad's back in the 70's used on the F4 series of Flatfish-known amongst anglers as the "frog colored" flatfish. Later, in my fisheries endeavors I learned this is actually mimicking a common Leach found throughout the northern areas of the U.S.

The Ace Shad is equipped with a third rattle chamber that creates a very slow sink-rate at rest, yet a bit different sound on the move. These baits are hand-painted and set up with high-quality hardware with no short-cuts on finish. We carry the size #4, which is similar to a 4.5 Salmo Hornet.
